Today, Georgia court ruled to disqualify Obama from appearing on the ballot. By failing to appear before the judge to prove he was a US Citizen, Obama left wide open a considerable room for speculation. Here is one news report on the event so far:

MESA, Ariz. — Margaret Manning is a vibrant, caring mother of six and grandmother to more than a dozen. But on, of all days, her 53rd birthday, she got devastating news. X-rays revealed she had mantle cell lymphoma.
“I was in the fourth stage, the beginning of the fourth stage, it was throughout my body,” Margaret said.
At best, she had only three years left to live.
“I was like in shock, I just couldn’t believe it,” she said.
“I remember talking to people about it and thinking about what could happen with my life if my mom was gone,” said Margaret’s son, Thomas.
Margaret’s husband, Larry, was also in shock
“I was numb at the thought that she might not be with us much longer,” he said.
That night, Margaret’s family and friends rallied around her and threw her a last minute surprise birthday party. She’s brought to tears remembering that night.
“They had cards, big cake, food, everything, but I knew I was going to live,” she said. “I said, ‘You guys, I know I’m going to live. I know I’m going to live I just don’t know how.’”
While Margaret turned to her faith, her children began doing their own research. That research led them to Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski. He’s a Polish immigrant who has spent three decades fighting the Food and Drug Administration over his non-conventional cancer treatment.
“Most cancers can be cured this way and there’s no effects from radiation and other things so why not go this route?” Thomas said.
So, Larry and Margaret flew to Burzynsky’s Houston clinic to begin treatment. They had to raise $20,000 for the visit. When they arrived, Larry said “it was like walking into Emerald City. We were on the yellow brick road.”
“I just knew I was supposed to go there. I was going to follow, with exactness, everything he told me to do,” Margaret said.
But what Margaret was told to do goes against conventional medicine. Instead of undergoing chemotherapy, Margaret said, “I was given his antineoplastons that attack just the cancer cells. The cancer just started going away, quickly. The medicine that I was put on is not FDA approved, but it is FDA approved for other cancers, but for my particular kind, it’s off label.”

Big Pharma Buys Minnesota

For many decades, the drug companies kept the names of their speakers — and how much they paid them — secret. But over the past two years, companies began posting the information on their web sites, some as the result of legal settlements with the federal government.
ProPublica took these disclosures and assembled them into a single, comprehensive database that allows patients to search for their physician.
It was no easy feat! Many of the firms constructed their sites in a way that made it near impossible to analyze or, in some cases, even download the data. Each firm disclosed its data differently, and some firms, for example, simply allowed speaking about the data only. A few detailed consulting and occasionally research. Business travel costs and meals were listed, as well.
The real shocker is that disclosed payments from pharmaceutical companies to Minnesota Health Care Practitioners totaled over $10 million from 2009 to 2011.
ProPublica will update the database from time to time as additional companies release their payment data. Federal law requires that all companies publicly report this data beginning in 2013. That information will be posted on a government web site. The trick is going to be in finding the data and peeling back the layers of obfuscation.

For the early morning “drive time” slot of the nationally syndicated “Bubba The Love Sponge Radio Show”, I was interviewed for an hour to discuss the film and recent events surrounding Burzynski, Antineoplastons, and more. It was a rather refreshing experience as it’s the first major radio show that wasn’t specifically a health related show—I was interviewed by Bubba The Love Sponge, Matt “Spice” Lloyd and other co-hosts.
